Vardenafil drug interactions

If you are taking any other medications, consult your doctor if you can safely use Vardenafil.

Vardenafil can interact with other medicines. Here are the most common and dangerous interactions of Vardenafil.

Vardenafil like other ED therapies should not be used with nitrate drugs for chest pain or heart problems.  If you want to use Vardenafil and you are on nitrates, discuss it with your doctor to define a special schedule of drugs dosing and time necessary to pass between them.

Vardenafil may interact with any of the following medications, inform your doctor about them and be specially carefull:

  • conivaptan;
  • diclofenac;
  • imatinib;
  • isoniazid;
  • antidepressants;
  • antibiotics such as clarithromycin, dalfopristin, quinupristin, erythromycin;
  • drugs to treat high blood pressure or a prostate disorder;
  • heart or blood pressure medication such as amlodipine, diltiazem, nicardipine, verapamil;
  • heart rhythm medicine such as amiodarone, quinidine, procainamide, sotalol;
  •  HIV/AIDS medicines.
